What's Included in the Irrigation Assessment?

Get ready to be impressed!  A sprinkler assessment with Blue Sky Rain is like no other.  Our technicians are specifically trained in diagnostics and repair and that’s our diamond sharp focus.  Every technician goes through extensive training online testing and field testing before they are ever showing up to service your sprinkler system.  The Irrigation assessment fee includes everything outlined above and does not include any repairs.

Do I have to be home for the appointment?

Yes, You have to be home for the sprinkler assessment service call and payment is due upon delivery of the service. The Blue Sky Rain Technician will show you the sprinkler assessment and discuss your options for repair.  We know it’s more difficult for some people to be home for this appointment, but with decades of experience, we also know that it’s in the best interest of providing the highest level of customer service that we require you to be home.

What do you charge for service?

A residential irrigation assessment is $150.  Estate-sized properties start at $225 and go up depending on the size. Commercial assessments and HOA’s are a minimum of $225 per controller and could be more depending on the size of the zones. Small commercial systems may be priced at the residential rate.  

What is your warranty?

All of our work is under warranty for one year covering parts and labor. The warranty excludes sprinkler head adjustments and setting the controller. To have the heads adjusted again or re-programming the controller requires opening a service call. The warranty also excludes lamps (bulbs) for landscape lighting systems. The warranty is transferable to someone you sell your property to.

What is a Project Order Appointment?

At the conclusion of your thorough professional sprinkler assessment, you will be provided the repairs needed (if any) and a price for those repairs.  Most of our repairs are able to be completed on the first call.  If the repair requires specialty parts or more time to complete, we schedule a Project Order Appointment for a repair crew to come back and complete it.  If your project has a follow up Project Order appointment, your technician will collect a 50% deposit in order to reserve your appointment on the schedule.  For the repair project appointment we require two things, access to your controller for the duration of the repair and balance payment when we are through. If you cannot be home for the repair project, please be sure to make arrangements for both of those things. We encourage you to allow your Blue Sky Rain Technician to run through your system with you when the repairs are completed. You want to see your system running like a charm, right?

Do you take credit cards?

Yes, we accept all major credit cards.  Our merchant services gateway for payment is PayPal and you do not need a PayPal account to use it.  You will add 4% to cover the credit card fees.  If you prefer to not pay the cc fee, you may write a check.

Can I have someone else meet you at my property?

Yes,  you may have a proxy meet us for your sprinkler assessment service call.  Your stand-in must have the ability to approve repairs, pay for the service call fee and pay for the repairs.  While you are much better off being there in person yourself, we understand that some people have family, friends, or staff to help them with these types of appointments.

Do you service Residential homes, Residential Estates, or Commercial properties?

Yes, Blue Sky Rain provides outstanding service for Irrigation Maintenance, Upgrades, Adding to your existing system, New Landscape Lighting Installation and Lighting Maintenance for Residential, Residential Estates, HOA’s and Small Commercial properties.

What are your hours of operation?

Blue Sky Rain is open 8A – 5P, Monday through Friday.  You may open a service request on our website and will receive a response within 2 hours during business hours.  Requests received after hours and weekends will be responded to early the next business day.

We will suggest small changes in your system that can make a big difference in the health and beauty of your landscape.
